And I'm far from a police apologist on this board.

But, for example. Dude that got the choke hold in NYC. That dude was selling black market cigs because the NYC government literally CREATED the market. Then, the govt sent out cops to go frick with people doing what was COMPLETELY predictable.

Absent that, the cop and the black guy never even interact. The government CREATED the situation.

The bottom line reality is that bad interactions with cops are a direct function of NUMBER of interactions with cops.

We can't, in one breath, demand that cops chase us around for a bunch of middling shite and then, complain when the OBVIOUS statistical result occurs.

Of course, these idiots also think that statistics indicate that blacks are more likely to have those negative interactions...…….but, they aren't.

How can I answer this? I trust until verified.

There are no perfect institutions, anywhere. I also know if I do something wrong, I will own up to it and accept whatever punishment is dealt out.

Does that get screwed up sometimes? Absolutely but you have to have a little accountability for yourself. Works way more than it doesn't.

It boggles the mind. If you accept the premise that the police and the justice system are actively oppressing minorities, then minorities should be fervent advocates for the 2nd amendment. Yet, the Democrats that they support are openly against gun ownership.

It's kinda like people that are for smaller gov't, but think increased military spending isn't making the gov't bigger somehow.
