I don't think the moderate risk is going to verify, but obviously people shouldn't let their guard down.

Trees down every where in the Leesville Country Club neighborhood.

How’s it looking for bham and a little bit south for the next hour or so? Gotta head home in a bit

Depends how far south of Birmingham you are, but if you're north of Clanton, the tornado threat is very low. Mostly just heavy rain and possibly some hail. There are no severe thunderstorm or tornado warnings anywhere near Birmingham at this time.

Crossing the river and putting down north of Vicksburg, then on to Yazoo, Holmes, Attalla, Choctaw Counties are like bowling lane.
Seems like the same down south around Laurel, Ellisville.
Definitely some microclimate patterns with nados. Also with trying to find the snow/rain crossover line in winter. Cold air spills through the delta and then hits the hills to slow down and it regularly follows a pattern.

trees down in Kisatchie National Forest from about 2:30 PM... could end up being a tornado touchdown

Still rumbling in south Shelby but all the bad stuff to the south. Montgomery’s turn this weekend.

looking like the storms moving into Alexandria are being downgraded from severe to just significant weather advisory territory
