They are basically giving new trucks away right now. Just buy new! Stimulate that economy!

But if you have to buy a ten year old truck with zero warranty, Chevy.

I have a ‘08 Tundra with over 220,000 miles I handed down to my son. It’s still going strong.

I got a 2003 Tundra with about 170,000 on it. Since being retired from 2012 I have to admit I don't drive it as much. Hell, I went almost two years without having to get my 5,000 mile oil change. Before '12 I was having to change it every two and a half months.

I have owned 4 tundra's since 2000 (first v8) traded them at 225,000...retired in 2013 and bought my last one (crewmax)...only have 56,000 on this one....the biggest problem with Yota's you get tired of them and they do love gas.

If you're buying a diesel, a 10 year old Duramax with under 200,000 miles is just starting to get broken in. Stay the frick away from a 6.0 or 6.4 powerstroke diesel.

I have an 07 with less than 130k. Just have to not wreck it and I’m gold for many years.

Just get a 10 year old Tundra. The interiors are the same as a new one so nobody will know it’s 10 years old.

FWIW, I have a 2008 Silverado 5.3 liter with 322,000 miles. Still running strong. Very few repairs over the years. Most recent was leaking rear main seal. Oil pump replaced at 300k. Never added one ounce of Freon and never turn off the AC. New alternator at 310k. Nothing else other than oil changes, spark plugs. Has been a good truck.
