Updated Guest Shopping Policy

Effective Friday, April 3, Costco will allow no more than two people to enter the warehouse with each membership card. This temporary change is for your safety and the safety of our employees and other members, and to further assist with our social distancing efforts. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

ETA: My bad, read it wrong - need more coffee

Why? It actually makes sense... no need for the whole family to go on a shopping trip right now...

Two people per card?

What is wrong with that?

Makes perfect sense. No need for couples to bring their entire filthy litter into the store.

They've been doing a great job constantly wiping down their carts, asking people to stay 6 feet apart. They've gotten rid of samples and are loading up on as many practical supplies as they can.

I don't see anything wrong with this policy they are instituting in their stores.

In my day, mom mom hated for us to all go in the store together, so she made my dad wait in the car with me and my brother.

We made many laps around the parking lot. Those were the days. But gas was also 1.00 a gallon.

That policy is written on Sam's Club card, that I have had forever.

When my wife went to Costco last weekend, they had a maze of pallets stacked up to walk through so when you got inside, they handed you a scrubbed down cart.

This should be the permanent policy.

I think it makes sense because some dumb arse walked right into me at the grocery store the other day. Even though I think all of the shut down is bullshite I'd still prefer not to get sick. So if we are having these lockdowns then we need to limited numbers in the store because I promise you everyone from my county is at the damn store.
