All of the loans, added UE, and direct payments in the stimulus won’t be available for 6-8 weeks. People can’t make it that long without income.

I predict in a week or two there will be massive pressure to reopen the economy and if governments refuse there will be a lot of people that reopen their business anyways.

The question is do governments cave or will they go further and declare martial law? Things could deteriorate very fast imo once people realize they won’t see stimulus benefits for 2 months and can’t pay bill or keep their business afloat.

Not to mention, at least in Florida, trying to collect unemployment is an absolute joke

The website from the early 2000s is permanently crashed

People are losing their shite already

My initial reaction is to scoff at this, but I'm not gonna lie the veneer of society is thin and it won't take much for things go to south, fast. It's really scary to think about actually.

Gov Newsom released like 50 murderers and child rapists yesterday so that will definitely help

The unemployment stimulus is extended to July 31st. That’s 600 on top of whatever your state’s unemployment is. Most people who worked and lost their job should be able to get by with that. Sone people will make more than they actually made working. And then you have the stimulus checks. People will be ok.

I don't think viruses are very particular

You have to consider this, the only people who will be eligible to draw regular unemployment bennies, are people who have been paying in, long enough to be eligible.

Free money. Headed to the Wal mart, hauling TVs out by the cart loads.

I’m thinking the same thing. The only question is, what will authorities do?
Is it actually a crime?
