Houston Board- Question about old tv news guy who did restaurant inspection reports

I remember enjoying his shtick back in the 90s. The guy was always finding feces in the ice machine and rotting rat carcasses in the refrigerator. What was that guy’s name?

His daughter-in-law was my 5th grade teacher. Said he used to call his driver to pick him up from school to go home and use the bathroom when he was a kid

I used to watch KHOU channel 11 when Dr. Neil Frank was there doing the weather.
Channel 13 KTRK in Houston had a weatherman named Ed Brandon who allegedly fondeled minors. I thing Brandon got his job back like two years later iirc
