Anybody else getting sick of the "stay at home" screamers?

If I have to leave the house, I'm going to leave the house.

nah, I pretty much leave the house whenever I need something

They want to feel important. It's the same idiots you see during every disaster. They parrot what they hear talking head demand and it makes them feel as if they did their part because they posted on Facebook.
While I do agree that people should be staying home, the people you see whining incessantly on Facebook and NextDoor about people leaving their home are the same who will gladly follow the government's orders into tyranny one day.

Exactly. Don’t lick shopping carts. Carry some hand sanitizer.

If you think we have any chance as a society of surviving something serious, just read the WAFB and WBRZ Facebook comments and you'll quickly realize most people are goners.

The true irony is that if everyone quarantined perfectly, our strategy wouldn’t even really work

Hattiesburg eaten up with this yet? There's a nursing home on every corner so I'm guessing it isn't too bad there or I would've heard about it

I honestly think that if the government said "If we stay inside and properly socially distance ourselves, businesses will be opened back up on May 1" that people would follow those orders.
Instead most states are being vague as shite saying stuff like "Well we don't know but if we stay home then MAYBE we can start getting back to normal sometime this summer"
If you say some vague shite like that the nobody will ever listen

It's getting annoying because most of them can't come up with anything original. They just piece together parts of other posts they (and everyone else) have seen. I can't say that haven't enjoyed getting a few of them all wound up with some comments. I'm pretty sure I have had a few people "unfriend" me for some things I've said. I'm almost up to 10 seconds of lost sleep over that.

I'm far more sick of the people leaving the house multiple times per day. Going to the grocery store everyday, home depot or where ever they feel like going and refusing to listen to common sense

It’s a damn shame that so many people are willing to give up everyday freedom. And if history teaches us anything it is that the government doesn’t give up its power easily.

From what I can tell, Hattiesburg is holding its own pretty well. The mayor was a little bit ahead of the game on the distancing guidelines.
I’m on the coast now and it seems it is becoming an issue down here. I’ve always called it “Louisiana East” so I shouldn’t be surprised I guess
