who are able to adjust and work from home?
my company has partnered with the CDC to deliver COVID courseware to all healthcare orgs in the country so we've actually been busier than ever.

quote:yeah but we need to integrate this piece of hardware that you've never seen and isn't compatible with the system for a new process starting 2 days from now. the salesman said it would work
have probably doubled my work output since I don't have to deal with idiots all day
also, my stock ticker isn't working so if you could work on that, that would be great.

My day is just starting. My 14 day quarantine is up today, but we are still working from home. I have a bundle of plywood brought out by plane that I am picking up and putting in the wood shed today and doing building checks. Several conference calls planned so will actually be pretty busy today. Minus 9 degrees this morning, so hoping there aren't any issues.

Sr Manger for a hospital system in Houston in IT telecommunications. Been BEYOND extremely busy between standing up virus call centers, to moving applications to cloud, trying to manage telecommuters needs, etc. It has been 3 weeks from hell for me. This past weekend was my first days off in a while.
Been working from home ~4 out of 5 days a week and putting in 12-16 hr days. Blessed to be working though

Life Safety Account Executive, working from home almost 100% now. This week I have multiple site visits to confirm project conditions, existing fire alarm system, etc., but usually I'd be in our office a couple of days a week, minimum 1 day.
Not any more.
We just had the first furloughs in our company's 19 year history, last week, and while everyone salaried who's retained took a 20% temporary reduction in pay, we're all thankful for the opportunity, given the alternatives.
ETA: Although I usually worked from home, anyway, I loaded up on site visits for design build opportunities, at the beginning of the month, since I saw a lot of this coming. I kept my boss in the loop throughout the entire process so she could see that I was loaded for bear. I wear multiple hats among my team, and have been able to shift gears and cover for a few different sales colleagues who weren't as fortunate as I was to make the cut, last week.
I'm busier than ever, but productive AF. On Friday alone, I chewed through two projects that would've taken me about 4 days to do, otherwise.

Working from home. Keeping 40+ hours as usual. I would much prefer to be working from the office. I have a baller home office with big screens, gig ethernet, all setup outside. Wife goes to work every day still and kids are gone, but I like being at the office.

Tax accountant. Been at home since last Tuesday. I can get stuff done for sure. I just don’t like working at home as much. I miss interacting with other people.
