The trend of cellphone users was increasing so a year over year of drop of 21.5million is actually probably much higher.
I believe they are lying about the death rates, but thats not the drop in phones. I believe that is the fact that millions of migrant workers had two phones and when they were quarantined they just dropped the service of their work phone.
Which means that the 8 million people who lost their jobs is probably double or triple that number. They got some big big problems ahead of them.

Other Governments aren’t going to call them out at this point if it is true. If they did they would start mass hysteria and runs on goods. If that many died the truth won’t come out till the danger has passed.
