Has crime/murder gone down in New Orleans during corona?

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place, but I can't to seem to find any answers online. Nola.com seems to have a related article, but it's behind a pay wall.
Anybody saw or heard any stories online/tv/radio saying one way or another?
I'm just curious because I woke up today and realized I still have all the same tires & rims on my truck this month.

While I haven't seen or heard about any real crime news lately, the few times when I have gone out late at night to a convenience store, there been a handful of sketchy muthafukahz I've seen hanging out (in an otherwise ghost town) that compel me to keep driving to the next store.

Crime hasn't stopped. It's just not being reported on the news lately

Was wondering this same thing and called a buddy of mine who is a BRPD shirt supervisor last week. He picked up the phone, I asked and he laughed. “Well, I am out at a double shooting right now.” He then related that call volume is about the same. His reasoning is that day to day life in the ghetto is largely unchanged by Stay at Home and job shutdowns.

The safest New Orleans ever was in my lifetime was October 2005 when half the city was in Houston and the national guard was patrolling the neighborhoods with assault rifles. Zero crime.
Then everyone came back.
Then everyone came back.

I thought all crime/murder in New Orleans ceased when Mayor Cueball took down the Robert E. Lee statue?

You can’t take the dump out of New Orleans nor it’s dump residents regarding their dump actions.

Hunch would be that domestic violence is up, other community violence down.

It looks like they have stopped updating the crime data map. There looks to be little change in the River Parishes. Jefferson Parish never put their data on this site.
Edit: Actually St. Charles Parish looks to be cut in half

You think a virus is going to hold culcha down? Maybe for a week or 2 at the most but then it will start up again.
