My kid has a dry cough and stuffy nose.

I can’t help but freak out sometimes. It’s not a persistent cough, and he does have allergies. All the doom and gloom is stuck in my head. He’s been away from people other than me and the wife since last Friday. Been outside a lot, though. Tell me it’s pollen!

Monitor for a fever. Anything 100.6 and above gets treated.

Go lay under a blanket and hold a stuffed bunny. It will be over soon, sweetheart

If it’s your kid you literally have nothing to worry about except the spread even if he has it.

"What's a coonass urn?"
"Oh, about fifty pounds of shrimp a week"

Hey my four year old has had it for the last week or so. Definitely think it’s the pollen. Keep the kiddo inside as much as possible and see if it helps.

stuffy nose was seen in <5% of corona cases, its probably pollen

Stuffy nose = URI Upper Respiratory Infection which is NOT what da Corona be. Productive cough/snot/goo is not da Corona either. That deep, wet nasty cough is the bad one.
Also, 100.6 fever in a juvenile does NOT equal a 100.6 fever in an adult patient. Kids are much more likely to show a higher reading so keep that in mind. Don't freak out over a 100.6 but don't ignore it either.

Could be an ear infection.

Honestly it was the dry cough that bothered me. It’s only once or twice in the morning and evening. No fever since we first heard it 3 mornings ago. He’s happy, feeling fine, and eating like a champ. We’ve been on total self quarantine since Monday just to be safe. No contact with anyone until we get past the ‘show symptoms’ window. I don’t believe he’s got it. Just looking for humorous reassurance. The OT delivers.
