What is the end game?

My biggest concern with the shutdown is not that it’s happening as I understand the reason though I am sympathetic to the idea of the damage to the economy. My biggest concern is there have been no announced metrics that they are watching to open things back up or keep them closed down. What does the federal government want? What do our states or cities want to see before they open back up? Tell people the metric(s) so we know and can debate if it’s appropriate.

I think if Trump wins in 20, and is followed by a solid America first president, that the tables may have turned back toward the normal. Otherwise, what the last guy said.

I believe Dems have struck a deal with another organization--either a nation or something bigger--and will hand the reigns over to them once the country falls apart.

This makes sense.
Trying to hide the goalposts while people like Clyburn are openly admitting that Dems are trying to use this to realign society in a way they prefer isn't a good look.

It's going to be much harder to motivate people to go back to work than most people realize. A bunch of bad habits being formed right now.
Even if we get an all clear, I don't think you're going to see everyone turn off Netflix, get off their couch, and dive back in.

I see all these saying this is Democrats and the New World Order, but Trump doesn’t fall into that. Neither would the governors of Ohio, Indiana, or West Virginia which have all done stay at home orders. My concern is we are flying blind here. We can’t look in a month and say what should we be doing. We should be evaluating it constantly and say what the evaluation is being done off of.

Everyone has an agenda. You make a choice every time you step into a voting booth.
You have to ask yourself, albeit the "noise" and your personal situation, "What should we do"?
I don't know. I would hate to think any entity would use this as "one up man ship".
This is a train wreck. I will tell you that the Federal Government is trying, the political government is scheming. It is what it is.

The way this board is framing the epidemic in terms of left vs right is horrifying. This is humans vs disease, we're all on the same team here. There is no grand conspiracy, no leftist takeover looming. Enough with the hysterics, it's cowardly.
