I think it’s pretty accurate. I think Weah should be on the list and I think we need someone else besides Roldan.

Not down with Lletget anymore.

I like Nipples, but Gio is far beyond him already.

I’d like to see a battle between Lima/Yedlin/Robinson for right back and let Dest play LB. We haven’t had a proven LB since Fabs in ‘14.

Side Q: HOW TF do we not produce strikers at all?! We do realize that is still a useful position on the field, right?

Fairly close, but I don't think we have the top end depth to really make it hard to make an semi-accurate 3-deep at any position.

I think I would have Ferreira over Sargent right now. Better passing, more versatile, can play a false-9, and Sargent has been in a slump for a while.

Hard to argue with the GK slots. I think Steffen and Guzan are easily 1 and 2. A number of players can make the claim for #3.

Hard to argue about the CB slots unless you want to put Tim Ream in there somewhere.

At LB, Robinson has always been a better attacker than defender, but who knows if/when he'll play again.

Hard to argue much about their RM/CM spots. Maybe Pomykal over Roldan.

You can say Pulisic needs to be the CAM or a winger instead of "Left Midfield".

Saucedo can pass Boyd soon if Boyd doesn't improve. Weah is likely ahead of both of them. Doesn't Morris usually play on the left? I'd put Morris over Uly and Reyna for now, but that can change quickly.

Doesn't Arriola usually play on the right? I'd put Arriola over Boyd and Saucedo right now, but Weah would probably be #1.

I had never heard of Ventura Alvarado?

And where are Jesus Ferreira and Tim Weah?

I get it and probably agree but Jozy and Morris still being our best options is less than ideal.

Never heard of a guy that has 13 caps for us since 2015?

I was a day one hater of Fats, but I’ve kind of come around on him. Who I don’t value at all is arriola.

Also, having roldan on any USMNT list should make list null and void....unless it’s a list of players you never want to see in a USMNT squad ever again.

He is a straight up lad. You need to calm down. He deserves a place on this team still.

He was terrible for us a few years ago, but alot of that had to do with Jurgy's tinkering and putting the back line under tons of pressure. He has never been called back, but he's the captain of his liga mx side and pretty well respected as a player there.

And he's 27 so still young enough to come in and help make a difference.

But none since 2016.

Jurgen tried to make him and Brooks our CB-pairing for the next two cycles during the 2015 Gold Cup, Alvarado failed miserably. He looked awful.

The best thing about him now is his Bocanegra-like backline versatility in that he can play literally every position.

Isn’t he a LB? He wouldn’t beat out Dest, and I think RB is a craps shoot.

Dest and Cannon for LB and then see who plays best between Lima/Yedlin/Robinson.

I personally love everything I have seen from Lima. I think he deserves a starter spot in a meaningful match or two just to see how he performs, because he gets forward well, delivers a great cross, makes plays in one v ones, is physical, and has a relentless motor.

I can’t remember one time he has been on the pitch where I have said “I don’t think he’s got what we are looking for.”

Not saying he is the best thing ever, just saying he has provided a spark from his position almost every single time. Strikers or midd finishing has been a completely different story.

Antonee Robinson is a LB

Nick Lima will probably never be a first-choice LB or RB, but he will be hella valuable come qualifying because he can play either side.

His crossing is also really fricking good.

Ok. My point still stands. Got a guy mixed up, forgive me. Not used to seeing so many options at LB/RB for the USMNT that actually bring value to the table.

At full strength (which never seems to happen), I would love to see Dest at RB and Robinson at LB, there's a reason Milan wanted him.
