Insider trading was made illegal for congress only very recently.

They should put everyone who sold stock the week before the market started to drop, in jail.

A wealthy Georgia senator is reportedly the second member of Congress to have dumped massive blocks of stocks following a private, chamber-wide meeting on the new coronavirus.

Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler, whose husband is chairman and CEO of the New York Stock Exchange, began selling off more than a million dollars in stocks on the same day as the closed-door Senate meeting on Friday, Jan. 24, reports the Daily Beast.

Over the next three weeks, through Feb. 14, Loeffler made 27 sales worth between $1,275,000 and $3,100,000, before the market nosedived and the values of her holdings tanked.

They all do this and they all voted themselves an exemption to make it legal.

They didn’t become millionaires on congressional salaries

Who is downvoting the OP? This MFer stole from us. He used his elected position to fleece his constituents. THAT’s the cesspool Trump was talking about.

Who cares? Most of the laws they make these days are illegal according to the Constitution anyway. Throw all of their asses in jail.

Do as I say, not as I do. The fact that it wasn't even illegal for them until recently blows my mind.

Whats the difference between him and people who were reading this information on the internet. Let me see if I can find a text that was sent to me suggesting it is a good time to move shite into bonds.

Senators and congressmen are immune from prosecution for insider trading laws.

They fact that most of them have millions in stocks shows how fricked up the system is. When most are career politicians

The bigger crime to me is he downplayed the threat while doing it.
