Probably one of the most important facts that people need to be pointing out. This is not a zero sum game. There is context.

Population density and risk of exposure is a huge factor.

Everyone in NOLA is emphasizing the increased rate of infection vs. other metro areas- maybe Mardi Gras was a similar gathering?
