Girlfriend tested positive for flu about 10 days ago. I nursed her back to health but she overextended herself and started feeling bad again yesterday.

Of course, all the Corona jackasses have raided the pharmacies and packed the doctors offices so there's not much choice for her other than to suffer for now.

My Dad and sister both had Type A about 3 weeks ago.

My Dad is 75, so it could’ve been really bad. Fortunately, he’s got the constitution of a horse. It still knocked him on his butt.

caught a flu bug recently..
I received a flu shot.
Several months later I got the flu, obviously a different strain. Far and away the worst case I've ever had. In bed 48hrs and a week to recover.

I’ve had something attacking my breathing for the past 6 or 7 weeks and went to the doctor yesterday. Basically like the crud but won’t go away. I had low grade fever and he put me on an antibiotic and sent me home. I swear to the Good Lord I think this thing has been here longer than several weeks.

I've had the same thing. For me it's this damn pollen. You have to chew your air before you can breath it.

It's been about 10 years since I had it. Probably the alcohol I consume.

Yeah I’m in south Ga and it’s been tree pollen season here for most of that time but not all of it. I have no sneezing, drainage, etc.; it’s all been in my chest. That’s what makes me discount allergies - plus I have fever.

I got the Flu February a year back...
Hit me like a damn truck. Nastiest flu I've ever had.

The 2018-2019 Type-A flu was a beast.
The 2017-2018 & 2018-2019 seasons killed >100,000 total in the US.
