What are some of your favorite episodes of TNG?
Mine are all DATA central episodes with the cliche "Measure of a Man", 2nd could be "The Most Toys".
Another choice would be "The Next Phase", the episode where Geordi first brings to life the hologram of Leah Braun.

The one where everyone gets transformed into animals is a personal favorite.

Any Q episode. The one where Picard goes on vacation and has an adventure.

I just watched that episode.
Any Q episode, agree. For years I wanted to invest into a high quality costume of the Continuum's Judge Robe.
But sadly too many would mistake it for the Spanish Inquisition.

I wasn't expecting that.

Is this the one where he has the last 1962 Topps Roger Maris baseball card in the universe? I loved collecting baseball cards when I was a kid, and that episode always stuck out in my mind.

Best of Both Worlds...The Borg Incident.
Next was "The Pegasus" where Admiral Pressman (Terry O'Quinn) went to recover an illegal cloaking device that he was involved in when Riker was a fresh ensign out of the Academy serving with him. Not only could the ship cloak, it could also "phase" or pass through solid objects..Helluva weapon. The crew mutinied back in the day because they knew Pressman was wrong and Riker defended his captain because he was too green to understand what was wrong.
I think the Federation and Picard were stupid for not pursuing this technology.

Every episode in the Worf/Gowron story arc
The Hugh episodes. Actually all the Borg story arc episodes

The Borg are well done in TNG. But damn did they overuse them in STV.

Yes!
And that might be why I love it, sports card collecting was such a big part of my childhood.
It is a goofy episode, but idk, it is one I always enjoy watching.

"The Inner Light" where Picard wakes up as another person on a planet that is dying.
Also "Yesterday's Enterprise"
"Parallels" where multiple Enterprises from different quantum realities appear through a quantum rift. One of the Enterprises was from a reality where the Borg had taken over the Alpha quadrant. The Riker on that Enterprise is mad with exhaustion and fear. I would have loved to see a series of episodes just based on that reality.

S07 right?
One of the only high points IMO.

Yup.
Also the episode where Picard's artificial heart stops and Q shows him what life would be like if he never took chances.
Damn I loved TNG. So many good episodes.

Wasn't there the storyline where Janeway and Tuvak were assimilated as a way to disguise themselves and infiltrate a cube?
They treated assimilation and de-assimilation like it was no big deal. TNG (and Picard) treat it as an incredibly traumatic experience.

Q - Are you asking for something Jean-Luc?
Picard - I would rather die as the man I was than be the man I just saw.
Something like that ..

Exactly, Picard literally went visit his brother after 20+ years to feel human once more or to get something "back".
I love STV, actually a Janeway fan, but they were loose with some of the past ideas.

"Birthright" parts 1 and 2 are great Data and Worf episodes. Dats's story is more abstract and Worf's story focuses on Romulan/Kingon relationships.

They devised a way to be physically assimilated but kept their consciousness for enough time to complete their mission. Tuvok was fighting it, but succumbed to it as time wore on. That's why they didn't have the emotional trauma.

Best? Best Of Both Worlds parts 1 and 2 by far.
Some I like, which are in a few cases divisive, include Conspiracy, QPid, and Chains Of Command parts 1 and 2.
Conspiracy was apparently originally connected to the Borg invasion but the plot points there were discarded because of how much of a pain in the arse the special effects and puppetry involved were.

Sounds like some Star Trek cannon BS to me.
That has always been an issue.
