He is a jackass and it all backfired on him. However, if he wasn't a total moron, he could have just had a "garage sale" selling only hand sanitizer and could have made all that money back and then some.

Chattanooga TV station story

LINK

TN Attorney General is investigating the dick bag. People are not happy with him here. Apparently a few went to his house to let him know how unhappy they are with him.

I can't believe he didn't start shooting. I get as many threats as he got...I'm not going to hesitate.

Social media was crazy. Pitchforks and torches.

He could have just drove back to the stores and returned them or put them on "offer up" or other apps.

Lying a-hole. Everyone knows how that business works. You buy hot items that no one can find and resell it for profit.
Only this time it wasn’t a hot Christmas toy or a sporting event tickets, it was an item that could ultimately cost someone their life because this a-hole was trying to pull them all off the shelves so he can make his profit. frick this guy and I hope he gets arse raped in fines.

It's hand sanitizer. Not medicine. Not gas. Not food. Hand sanitizer. The lazy alternative to soap.

Hey man, I have some oceanfront property in AZ. Good price. You interested? You seem like the type that would be interested.

Lying son of a bitch. That is exactly what he was counting on.

Before you check his acquisition dates, this is an idiotic comment.

Again, fricking HAND SANITIZER. Just use soap. Or rubbing alcohol. Did he buy up all that shite too?

And everyone is acting like he bought out the whole world of the shite. It's only 18k bottles. What exorbitant price was he asking, anyway? If your life depended on fricking hand sanitizer, what are you willing to pay?

That's what drug companies do. Get mad at them.

Exactly. You can MAKE the stuff. Cheap. Even a spritz bottle with slightly diluted 92% alcohol would do in a pinch.

Are you to dumb to realize how many if not all 401k have drugs stocks in their portfolio and you realize the same industry you are bitching about is going to fund your retirement and if you want them to fail your retirement will suffer also
Industries have disappeared. Companies have gone bankrupt. Markets have adjusted. Don't act like everyone's retirement would be fricked if drug companies were subject to pricing regulation.

What about big pharma pricing out people with no Or shitty insurance for insulin, albuterol, epi-pens, chemo, hiv meds ... those are life saving medications but they can price whatever they want without getting in trouble

Lol so any company with a large market cap should be protected and not subject to rules and regulations because it might hurt the stock market and hurt a baws retirement?

:yeahok:

Maybe he should have been hoarding surgical ventilators too. I hear they are in short supply. Probably could have fetched a high price.

I don't see why this whole board doesn't support this guy. Is this not capitalism taken to its logical end?

There are many uninformed self declared capitalists on this board. Many.
