This mindset is laughable. You, clashmore and gang have clearly never run a complex organization nor have any idea how our govt agencies actually work. We’ve spent billions upon billions over many years funding agencies, institutes, research etc. this is what it got us.

Yep. The man gets fought tooth and nail on almost every single decision made with the opposition and MSM immediately spinning whatever decision as the wrong one. Him being castigated for being too aggressive and xenophobic in late January and now being accused by the same people as never doing enough the latest case in point. This probably will get worse and unfortunately there will be more who lose their lives but whenever this finally settles down the road, Trump will have largely made the right decisions to have minimized impact as much as anyone sitting in that office could have.....I’m sure much to the chagrin of his detractors who are hoping this results in his removal.

Maybe the fact that china didn’t shut down during H1N1 had something to do with availability of tests? Or the fact that H1N1 was known and studied for some time before the outbreak while we literally had to force china, belatedly and reluctantly, to provide us with the virus strand....after the outbreak?

I have not researched the alleged changes, specifically, but apparently private labs used to do epidemiology testing and the CDC took all that back and centralized it at some point.
That's what Fauci was talking about yesterday - the system in place wasn't adequate for scaling up to a large even like COVID19. That was the drive behind expanding to the state public and private labs in recent days.

The entire govt is full of red tape. He needed to prioritize who got cleaned out and decided to fix the economy and military first. It’s easy to be a backseat driver if it fits your narrative, but even 4 more years won’t fix the behemoth created by decades of pork loving politicians!
