Caught Mortal Kombat on last night. Pure cinematic masterpiece.

I really do enjoy that movie.

Mortal Kombat is enjoyable, that is about it.

My favorite might be the first Resident Evil film.

Does the Wizard count? It's not based on a video game but it's probably more of a video game movie than most video game movies.

Regardless, I'll go with the Wizard

I convinced my parents as a 4yr old to buy me a Power Glove from that movie.

One of my greatest accomplishments and disappoints in life

I ate tons of tabs, I also am a friend of techno. However, that is some bad techno.

Story time with Coyote, my Grandmother brought 6 of my friends and I to see Mortal Kombat in the theater. After seeing the movie, we then went to the BMX/Skate shop. Very "Mid-90s".

Ready Player One

Maybe because I read the book 2yrs before, but I thought it was a terribly goofy movie with a lot of things which are just dumb, even in a book to movie adaptation sense.

The book is okay, enjoyable, but okay.. the movie is garbage.

Edt: YouTube: RedLetterMedia - Ready Player One Review

Edt2: The best parts of the book they don't even do in the movie. They do however get a couple scenes correct, like the opening and the ball/dance event scene with them dancing in air.

Besides that, they didn't capture any feeling from the book.

I'd probably have to say Mortal Kombat as well. There isn't much.

I liked Resident Evil, Sonic the Hedgehog, and even the Prince of Persia movie wasn't awful.

Detective Pikachu was great and I never played the Pokemon games.

The story was meh, maybe because reused.

But those Pokemon looked insane. Some of the scenes are money, esp the ones bulbasaurs walking through a stream.

Glad that I skipped the book then since it’s a fun movie.

Adaptations usually always suck for the book reader.

But I just think the movie was too much goofy nostalgia. It was just throwing things at you without purpose.

I did t hate it, just was a little lazy. But it was mildly enjoyable at times, so I guess if does it job as a movie.

If we are talking about a video game series getting its own movie then it's Mortal Kombat but the new Sonic movie was WAY better than I expected.

Also the first Silent Hill movie didn't do a bad job either. The second one however is next level awful.

1) Mortal Kombat
2) Sonic
3) Silent Hill

The Last Starfighter trounces every other video game movie.

However, it’s not a video game movie. It’s a movie about a guy who plays one video game (which didn’t exist in real life) that’s secretly a recruiting tool by a galactic space army. He’s so good at the game, he’s recruited by aliens to be a pilot

One of my fav movies as a kid and nearly completely forgotten.
