I don't buy that 75 million to 150 million Americans will contract Corona

That's up to 46% of the population.
China, where the virus started, has had 81,000 cases, and the number of new cases is slowing down every day.
They have a population of 1.386 billion.
So only 1 out of 17,000 Chinese have the Coronavirus, but 45% of Americans will?
Give me a break.
ETA: Obviously Chinese are probably underreporting, but that is a staggeringly small number.

China literally welded apartment buildings shut, dragged people off by force, and other draconian measures. I don’t think America will do that

China blocked all the roads to Wuhan, welded people into their homes, incarcerated those who tried to get out, and sprayed down the streets with bleach every day for weeks.

I’m not sure about the total numbers but understand there is a difference between estimates of everyone who contracts it (asymptotic and incredibly mild cases) compared to those that test positive for it.

Walking thru Walmart in Kunming, China one day and a Chinese dude walking down the aisle about 10 feet in front of just did the right side, left side nostrol air hanky thing. Honked it right there on the floor and never broke stride. Hygiene is nonexistent there. Saw many other very germ spreading habits while working there.
BUT, you do see a lot of em walking around with a cheesy, useless surgical mask on. No problem using there chock sticks to eat with and reach over and get more food out of the serving dish..nope, no germ sharing with that nasty habit.
