Here’s an idea for a fun Bond movie.

The year is 2021. Bond is now a British Ex-pat living in The United States who has gone into a deep depression because despite his best efforts, and vastly superior British rearing, failed to get Bernie sanders elected. He has taken to patrolling the gulf coast bars for booze and women, which has left him even more unfulfilled because despite his legendary pick up artist status, the very thought of the re-election of Donald Trump renders his dick useless.

What can Bond do to get to the bottom of the deepest “conspiracy theory” in the political history of the history of the US? CAN THIS COUNTRY BE SAVED FROM THIRD WORLD STATUS? Find out.

So you are admitting that the average movie has a bunch of liberal propaganda in it. Thanks for understanding that conservatives would like to see conservatives ideals portrayed in a positive way for a change.

Man keep all that political bs out of the movie, conservative or liberal unless its a story that directly deals with it, and they advertise it as such

Know what else I hate? how Daniel Craig and his mentally ill Bond have destroyed one of the most fun and clever franchises in movie history.

Thank you.

I knew they were going to queer it up with SJW bullshite, because they've been systematically doing it to all franchises beloved by western white dudes. But, part of that agenda must also be to make the movies suck as well.

Or maybe they just have no talent and SJW shite is how they bully their way around Hollywood.

What makes it worse is that "actors" actually think their opinion matters

When you get famous, people will constantly tell you that you're right and how important you are. Eventually that has the psychological effect of making you actually BELIEVE that. If you're rich enough or famous enough, people will CONSTANTLY tell you that you're right. Anything to stay near you and keep you happy.

I used to work NATPE Conventions in NO & LV for a friend.

I handled Movie & TV execs, stars, their "yes" assistants, etc..

The echo chambers & insular bubbles they live in are BEWILDERING!

The grounded & based in reality were very few and far between.

Was it ever a struggle to keep Obama out of the films?

No? Got it.

Isn’t the point of this article that they were trying to avoid doing that?

Putting trump in the plot automatically draws a line.

Why would it even be at all necessary to even consider putting Trump into the plot of a James Bond movie? Much less to then whine later about how much of a "struggle" it was to keep him out of it? He's got NOTHING to do with the James Bond universe. They are all made up bad guys, are they not? Well, they used to be.

Here's the quote:
quote:

“We struggled to keep Trump out of this film,” Craig told me of No Time To Die. “But of course it is there. It’s always there, whether it’s Trump, or whether it’s Brexit, or whether it’s Russian influence on elections or whatever.” Like many Britons who have left home—Craig and Weisz are based in New York—he is baffled by the country’s seemingly inward turn since 2016.

Because nationalism (Trump, Brexit) is the current hot topic. Just as the Cold War was the focus for the U.S. and Britain in the 60's, 70's, and 80's, and terrorism was the focus in the 90's forward, Trump's America and Brexit are front and center going into the 20's.

With Trump and Brexit, the U.S. and Britain took a u-turn from the previous decades. It's why people elected Trump. Why Trump supporters applaud Trump for breaking from the norm and doing things his own way and then are surprised when the world notices is beyond me.
