#1 problem with this team IMO

Outside of the coach. You don’t have shooters to make them pay for doubling Zion in the post. Seems like more and more teams are starting to copy one another. Double him and make the lack of shooters we have shoot. Need to find more shooting next year so teams can’t feel confident in the double team.

Wtf are you talking about? Ingram, JJ, Etwaun, Melli, Josh Hart, and hell even Lonzo sometimes, are all good outside shooters. This teams problem is lazy defense.

The other big problem is Favors.
Not that he is a bad player(though follow some people around here and he is the worse than Steimsma) but the fact he has no capacity to space the floor means defenders can sag off him to help with Zion.
And because Zion isn’t ready to play center except for incredibly short bursts, I think getting someone like Myles Turner or Serge Ibaka is going to be key this offseason.

JJ injury hurts. Teams had to defend differently cause you can’t leave him open.

The biggest problem IMO is defense. This team can put up points but defensively we haven’t lived up to what we really could be. Also we need to close out games better, last night vs the Heat had me sweatin with how Miami came back. Thankfully we pulled it out though and still are in the playoff hunt!

This is why my favorite pairing with zion is Melli. He spaces the floor and allows zion to get more one on ones in the lane and allows him to use the entire lane to go to work
