What makes Chick Fil A workers actually care about their jobs?

I notice that there is a huge difference in the attitudes of employees at Chick Fil A versus a typical McDonald's or Popeye's. Is it the training Chick Fil A makes everyone go through, or is it simply a morale question? Or is it a reflection of who CFA hires?
They are all fast food workers being paid a minimum wage to serve customers. I can't imagine working at CFA is that much better than any other fast food joint.

Because its a job for them, not a career.

It's both.
There is also a training video on youtube that you can watch.
No other company trains and hires like them.

Better pay and benefits. They also
Hire a better caliber of worker than your average fast food place. Personality assessments and such come into play here

Don't ask questions. Just appreciate the perfection of Chick Fil A.
Also, thank you for helping me making up my mind on what to eat for lunch today.

They only hire people that care about their jobs
Now how they find those people is the question

I thought they paid well above the usual fast food joint.

CFAs are usually owned by people highly active in a large protestant church
They get nice church kids to work there

Their management team is most likely lightyears better than other fast food joints.

They don't just hire anyone.

They actually staff enough.

I was talking to my kids about this the other day, they said chick fil a hires older kids. They're more mature than the McDonald's workers in high school and the career Popeyes employees.

They only hire honor roll high school and college students, and they pay some toward their college.
For career-minded individuals, they pay better, give better benefits.
Requiring the owner to work in the store does wonders too. When the guy that has his capital tied up in the building is the general manager and is in the store every day, people act a little different than when LaShonda the fry cook that worked her way up to a $15/hr. management job is their boss.

Because they've got Jesus on their side and the results speak for themselves.

No one is paying minimum wage anymore lmao, but I've heard Chick Fil A pays more than most FF places. Also seems like they hire older ppl than the average.

It requires a pulse to be hired by Burger King, McDonald's or Popeye's. Chick-fil-A also offers scholarships to their employees. I would doubt very many Burger King, McDonald's or Popeye's employees are seeking a college degree.

Because management treats them with dignity and pays them enough to actually give a shite. Same reason In-N-out employees are also nice and courteous even though they work fast food.

Have you ever looked at the average Chick Fil a worker vs the average McDonalds worker ?
