You've obviously never been in a Radio Shack Store where there was electronic components. You must have only shopped at the stores where they sold toys.
You can't even get the selection of bulbs at Wally World that RS had.

Wildly incorrect statement.
I work in video production and I can’t tell you the number of times the tiny Radio Shack on College saved my neck with a cable or connector. Nothing was “special order”. They had everything you could need relative to audio or video in stock. It was great.
It was a quirky franchise, but great.
