Obviously we were all hoping that the Tigers could snag either a win at Auburn or against Kentucky but those fell through. Do CWW's club have a signature win this season?

Rhode Island.

Maybe their most complete game of the year. Florida is ranked slightly higher in the NET, but RI was a neutral site win, which means more.

Probably not. Sweet 16 would be a damn good accomplishment. If we lose a couple more, we'll be playing a 1 or 2 seed in the 2nd round. Who knows though...Manning seems to have changed the team some.

8 players is better than 7. Manning is a pretty damn complete player as well.

South Carolina was a quality win on the road. They were a hot team. It's not like beating Kentucky on the road, but the selection committee will see this win as a big positive.

We kicked their arse, then tried to run the clock out while they drained a bunch of 3's.

Check out what I posted after that. We knew that we had the game won, & they went into desperation mode with a bombardment of 3's. Fortunately for them...they made almost all of them.

This game wasn't close.

You clearly did not watch the game. That game was over with 6 minutes left in the game

Looking at NET rankings, we have 4 Quad1 wins. The highest one is Rhode Island (36 in Net, neutral site win), but a win at Florida (currently 34 in Net) would surpass that.

I understand the rules of both horseshoes and hand grenades, but damn those Auburn and Kentucky games were big in terms of what the committee will look at when fielding the tourney. That was two top-30 teams we lost to by a combined 4 pts.

That loss at Auburn was about as good of a loss that you can have. Top 15 opponent, on the road, overtime, & lose with 1 second on the clock.

That shot also got a friendly roll. It's not like everyone thought that thing was going in.

Agreed, but a win there would have been enormous. I guess it’s a glass half full/half empty debate.

15-2 in Quad 2, 3 and 4 games is what you like to see also. Generally speaking, we do a better than average job of taking care of business against teams we should beat.

This would be the year a lower seed wins it all or gets to the Final Four.

I really like our chances.

We can beat anyone if we hit our 3's & defend the 3. A tall & legit Center can hurt us in the paint as well. Kentucky's center (6"11', long, & athletic) killed us in the paint, & made it tough to drive to the rim. We're legit at everything else.

Just depends on if our team shows up or not. We can score on anyone.

I like the fact that Manning seems to keep playing more & more. Javonte Smart hitting his 3's would take this team to another level imo. He got hot late last season.

Mays, Days, & Manning seem to be our best 3 point shooters. If Smart & Watford get hot from 3...this team will be a pain in the arse for anyone & everyone

Thinking FL was the best W. We stand a good chance to win out & with a good tournament performance, maybe as high as a 6 seed for the dance. A sweet 16 would be pretty good for this team imo & anything be a heart accomplishment.
