Well, we don't have too long to find out who is correct. I contend Bloomberg will not be the nominee.

Still makes Trump a better option than all of the Dems, combined.

That's a mighty impressive strawman.

And has absolutely nothing to do with me being or not being a libertarian.

True enough. I'm just a cynical bastard by nature though.

Maybe, but it pretty much summarizes the average Libertarian.

No, it summarizes your caricature of a libertarian.

I bet there is someone that wishes "Compromised Clint" would've been a little more genteel

Poor Clint. They interviewed during the pebble beach pro-am and he was as bad as Biden and Pelosi in forming complete sentences.

I hate how the libertarian party has been co-opted by people who claim to be libertarians, but clearly aren't. We have several of these frickers that post right here on this board. They're contemptible.

Centinel lives in South Carolina, a comfortably-Red state. His LPA vote did not help HRC one iota.

I don't mind libertarian theory.

But it's just like socialist, or communist, or anarchist theory.

In its pure form, it won't work.

I don't agree. Unlike socialism and communism, libertarianism isn't a gimmick. It's just a stance that says we should always seek to reduce the size of Government and promote giving the individual more autonomy.

As a libertarian, I would like to see us move more towards the system of Government we had pre-WW1. I want to see more emphasis placed on local elections. I want to see many of our federal agencies disbanded. It's not an all or nothing deal. A libertarian candidate will make a lot of headway with me personally by simply finding a way to get rid of the IRS. Get rid of the central bank and put the issuance of money back into the hands of the Treasury, as our system was designed. shite like that. There is no reason those things "cannot work" because we have already seen it work.
