I hate Bernie but that might not be that far off. I’ve seen lots of people on this site say they pay close to 1000 and sometimes over that in monthly premiums.

Mine is more than that if you include my employer's portion. Not a Dem or Bernie supporter.

I think ours is roughly 17k.

ETA - family plan. Don't want to be misleading with the "mine". Above employee and spouse only, the cost is the same whether you have 1 kid or 6

Ha!!! The "average American" doesn't pay their fricking healthcare bills!!! That's why they can't get healthcare. Won't pay co-pays or deductibles, then can't get seen and bounce from office to office until they are shite out of options. This is the truth.

I pay an unbelievable amount. Way more than what it was prior to Obamacare.

Why is he identifying this issue in the first place? His party is the one that wrecked it in the first place.

I pay $2000 a year for a family of 3. Deductible is $20. My wife had a c section delivery. Our total cost for the entire year including prenatal and post natal care was $37. I like my plan

Our insurance increased to $1900 a month in addition to a $8400 deductible. It was a complete joke. We dropped it and paid cash going forward till we could restructure our business and actually purchase insurance that we could afford.
