Portillo's even has ketchup

I'm a GM for Portillo's. Ketchup is usually put on dogs for kids, but it's blasphemy for grown ups here in Chicagoland

Like I said, I gave no shits. I put it on brats with mustard too.
This whole premise of “ketchup” is for kids works until you see the same big dudes dipping their fries in ketchup.

Oh, that’s ok.

Hey I get it. I'm from south LA, and I just want some damn rice and gravy. I don't eat our dogs with all the mustard, relish, onion, toms, peppers, celery salt, pickles. That's just how it is up here, and people sure do love it.

I'm not saying ketchup is for just for kids. I'm saying if a dog is ordered with just ketchup it's for a kid.

Well ok buddy let's talk. The grilled tuna is gone for good after Lent. Sorry man. We replaced the flounder with a whitefish too.

I was in Rockford for a year. I'm running Batavia right now, cause it needs some help to get it up to standard. I'm opening the one near Wrigley in June.

If you ever go to the one in Madison the GM's name is Ed. Tell him you're friends with Casey and I'm buying you lunch/dinner. I got you buddy

So this year? Well it was a good run. That was my wife’s goto when I would get a hotdog or beef.

Funny, never got the BBQ ribs ..

Portillo's would kill it in Nola.

Depending on how close to Wrigley the new one down here is, it could be walkable from my condo. Hell yes. I didn't know there was gonna be one so close.

Yeah this year. It just doesn't sell.

The ribs are pretty popular. Around Memorial Day you can buy a full slab and get a half for free. It's a pretty good deal. Which one have you gone to?

You think it would work in NOLA? I've always said in wouldn't work in Louisiana, but that could be me just missing our food all the time.
