"I don't like activities" - Joe Burrow

Joe is in Ft. Worth to receive the Davey O'Brien award and did an interview on the Ticket. He mentioned he didn't go to his Senior Prom and, when asked why not, responded "I don't like activities."
Other than Corby trying to name-drop 'Baker' and 'Kyler' a few times it was a pretty good interview. Haven't found a link yet but will try to share if I find one
ETA: He went on to mention that the beach and hiking, among other things, are not activities that interest him. Growing up they didn't go to church, they watched football.
Interview Link (Thanks to Torchy)

You know what Joe, now that you say it...I don't like that shite either.

Joe doesn't like to deal with the bullshite. He prefers to slug a few nose beers and paint the town red

Corby tried to name drop peasants like Baker and Kyler in the conversation with a legend like Joe Burreaux?
I haven’t listened to that show in years but I remember Corby being a massive OU fan boy so this checks out

Didn't 'his family's' church have a party for the Heisman ceremony?

There was a clown on Greenberg's show this morning, some NFL analyst type, who said he felt Burrow did not have the lower body strength to be able to endure in the NFL. He referenced Big Ben as an example of a big, strong QB. Greenberg, a huge Burrow fan, then showed 5-6-7 clips of Burrow running those draws & scrambles where he ran past players. And just laughed at the idiot.

That was Mike Tannenbaum. Here's how good he is at evaluating talent....

Glad this is just coming out, the god squad would have run him out of town last year.
If you are just now realizing that Joe wasn’t very religious, you weren’t paying attention.

Yup. Very refreshing to hear someone thank the people that actually did the work rather than blow past them and thank god.
