Front page story in The Advocate today.
Crain forcibly recused from Supreme Court cases involving legacy law firm led by J. Carmouche because his campaign called him a "trial lawyer" in an election flyer.
I have zero doubt this was the plan all along.
frick this state.

Carmouche put in over $800,000 behind. a single candidate in this state SC race. Shows you the crazy money that’s at stake and how much influence these trial lawyers have on the system.

He should not be recused. Does anyone think Liljeburg would have recused himself from these cases as well, having been overwhelmingly supported by the plaintiff bar ilk? Not a chance. As an attorney you run that risk when you get involved in judicial races. You have to be prepared that your horse might lose and you will be stuck with a winner you were publicly opposed to. This is bullshite and simply the scumbags, being the democrats/RINOs they are, trying to undo an election.

One of the main reasons Texas has enjoyed so much economic success is because of tort reform. Companies, physicians, and just about everyone is sick of frivolous lawsuits. Companies will continue coming to Texas to escape the ambulance chasers.

I thought that’s what they preferred to be called. Is this another one of those situations where they can only call each other t**** lawyers?

Is this not true? Has he never been to trial?

We should start a campaign to expose John Carmouche and his firm to be the ethically challenged shysters that they are.
Knowing John as I do, he will probably go to court to try and have this site shut down.
Smart dude, good lawyer(objectively), thin skinned and greedy as hell.
