Everyday stuff that always happens in movies and TV shows that is not realistic

I'll start with two that always annoy me
- People in the bar order "beer" and the bartender knows exactly what they want
- Any time someone is on a computer, the computer will beep and make noises when it's doing things

Anything to do with guns. Like the clicking sound everytime a gun is pointed somewhere.
I didn’t see the “everyday” thing. I guess it’s that for some people.

People always finding an empty parking space on the street in front of wherever they are going.

I never thought about that one. Would be kinda funny if they were all "frick man, no parking" followed by 10 minutes of driving around cursing.

I'll allow it
I was going to say that missiles or bombs always blow up as huge fireballs, which is completely inaccurate.

High school teacher in the middle of a lecture as the bell rings and the students stampede out of the classroom and teacher starts to yell about not forgetting to do homework.

Just thought of another one...
People never say "bye" at the end of a phone call. They just finish their last statement and then both sides just automatically know it's time to hang up.

How people at the end of a slasher movie never realize all their friends are dead until the killer is chasing them.

People talking on the phone and the connection will get lost or the guy gets hung up on, and they just act like calling them back is not an option as they go on about their day
Any movie that has a scene early in the morning on a school day and the kids and parents are wide awake in the kitchen doing homework and eating breakfast like it’s 3 in the afternoon. And high school kids shooting the shite and full of energy in the parking lot before school starts. Idk about y’all but most mornings in high school everyone looked like zombies

When the news is shown on TV they get the story right

Anytime there is a big car chase scene with multiple wrecks and speeding through stoplights with cross traffic I think about how Ive never seen anything like that in real life and how is that such a common scene in movies
I mean they are fun don’t get me wrong but it bothers me lol

Only the best killers can pull this off FWIW

Airport run downs past security, abandoning cars in departures etc
The million and 1 chances to get it right with the "One"

Not saying "bye" when ending a phone call is a huge one.
People walking right into the house without unlocking the door.

Hacking is almost always ridiculously unrealistic

When leaving the bar they just drop down cash on the counter and walk out. No asking what the tab is or anything. I understand you can but most people don’t operate that way. I guess sending a credit card to be run takes up too much time in a movie.

Noisily peeling out when a car pulls off.
The way people so casually talk to detectives and then say "are we done now?" There's a John mulaney bit on it on law and order

And many times they’re in big cities too. With as much traffic as places like LA, NY, Atl (Baby Driver), etc. have, there’s no way they would have room to drive that fast.

My wife and I laugh about this every time we finish having sex. In movies they finish and the woman just casually rolls off and cuddles. That’s not how it works. My wife calls what she does to go clean up, the after sex waddle, to make it from sexy time place to the bath room.
