Abortion is the golden goose of hot button issues. As far as "civilized" goes then I guess you don't think certain Western European countries are civilized.
Look, I wish we would just ban abortion. That way we would have no more wedge issues and meaningless hot takes that serve only to strengthen already established lines.

I oppose abortion, but since Democrats are the ones fighting for it, it also means most of the people having abortions are Dems. It doesn’t hurt to have less leftist idiots walking around
