I have had good luck with Heads and Tails (just off Perkins - block west of Essen/Staring).

Forgot about them. They were good as well.

Crawfish on the geaux is the best in town. Not a restaurant. But you put restaurant in quotes implying that it doesn’t have to be a restaurant.

Went to Heads and Tails off Perkins last week and got 3 lbs of crawfish and 1 lb of shrimp for around $32 with corn and potatoes. They were very good and crawfish were decent size, shrimp were yuuuge and seasoned awesome, they were kind of spicy which was great.
ETA: they were selling 3 lbs of crawfish with corn and potatoes for $19.99

Mitch knows what he is doing. His dad used to own "The Crawfish Place" when we were growing up so he has been around the business boiling crawfish his entire life. Not a restaurant but definitely some of the best boiled crawfish BR has to offer.

I can’t believe so many people are saying Willie’s. I don’t even think they purge their crawfish. Some of the dirtiest, grittiest crawfish I’ve ever had.
My go-tos are Montalbanos, Louisiana Seafood on Coursey, and Capital City Crawfish.

Willies were great last year but they’ve been fricking up this year. I’ve gone twice and they weren’t good. Ivars had the spiciest in town last year on Friday’s and Sunday’s but somebody told me they had them Sunday and they were bad. That’s disappointing, was planning on having them there for the baseball game Friday

Randy Montalbano's is the best you'll get anywhere on the face of this earth

Thanks everyone, tried to goto heads and tails but it closed at 7 before I could get there. Then I tried to get a daquiri (for old times sake), but French quarter daiquiris on essen is out of business.
the nearest daiquiri shop was lakeside off Burbank and to my surprise They had three pounds of crawfish for eighteen bucks and it was actually pretty damn good but that could be that I had zero expectations.
The girl still wants to compare so I think we'll head over to heads and tails but lakeside was a pleasant surprise.
