Oddly I've never cooked this but it looks simple enough
She also wants green beans as a side. All I have is canned green beans at home. Any reasonable way to doctor that up?
Any tips on the beef tips?

I was planning on dredging the bite sized beef in seasoned flour before seasoning but other than that that's about what will be happening

Yeah you can do that instead of the flour later.

I love beef tips and I have a very special recipe for green beans

I would deglaze with a 1/4 cup of red wine prior to any stock.

Just use your chili recipe :)

Throw a little grind meat in there?

I chopped and rendered some bacon and added to the beans
Also reserved some of my onion and garlic that I cooked down to mix in. Added a nice touch.

This sounds about as good as you can make canned beans.. but I would get frozen, like PictSweet, but not Green Giant.
