A package of tiny dead birds passed off as pet food was confiscated by Customs agents at a Virginia airport.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection says the package came in to Dulles International Airport on a flight from Beijing on Jan. 27.

Agents discovered the bag of dead birds in the baggage of a passenger who was on their way to Prince George’s County, Maryland.

The passenger said the package was cat food. The plastic packaging had pictures of a cat and dog.

The birds are barred from importation to prevent the spread of avian flu.

So is this some kind of strange act of terrorism, or was it pets that died while in flight?

I was chased down by four security guards, one of them armed, after picking up my bag in the Rome airport with my epi pen inside it. Scared the shite out of me because I had no idea what the frick they were yelling at me but just kept pointing at my bag so I took it off and placed it on the ground slowly. They grabbed it, opened it right up, and pulled it out. Then they started, what I can only imagine, apologizing to me and motioned for me to go on about my business when they realized it was an epi pen. Apparently they saw the needle on the xray machine but let me grab the bag and start walking before they decided to investigate further.

And that was the time I was almost killed by Italian airport security.

It’s not odd if you’ve seen an Asian market.

In the in Guangdong province of China, demand for the the valuable yellow-breasted bunting has driven the bird to the brink of extinction -- it was officially categorized as endangered on Monday by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.

The bird is a very popular delicacy in the region, where many people believe its meat can detoxify their bodies and improve their sexual vitality.

I would guess that it isn’t terrorism, but just normal market for odd eastern medicine.

Foreigners are weird. Had some Turks coming into Iraq to work. One packed ice cream, which melted all over his shite, another had a dead snake in his luggage.
