I say yes..

I think it’s time to address the elephant in the room.. these people are a complete liability on the roads. They don’t pay attention, their motor skills are often limited and they clog up lanes with their slow driving.

At the very least they should have to go every year to the DMV to take a competency test in order to keep it.

In the modern era there are plenty of ways for the elderly to get around. Ride sharing and public transportation are perfectly viable options.

Young girls on cell phones are worse drivers than old people to me.

No, but after like 70, there should be a required test every few years to see if someone is still capable of driving.

You sound like you're describing 85 year olds.

Between services like Uber and the upcoming wave of self driving cars, this problem will take care of itself in 5-10 years.

probably more like 70 or so. too many elderly don't have the vision or confidence to drive at a reasonable speed. One pulled right out in front of me the other day and then did 30 in a 55 mph zone.

idk. quite a good portion do not live in urban areas. Not sure how common rural transportation buses are. We have them here but I don't see them much other place I visit.

No. Everyone under the age of 25 and over 55 should have to take the physical driving test every 2 years.

No, hard for me to believe in censorship of anyone no matter of age. Not a good precedent to set.

Get off my lawn, bitch.

And FYI, while I was in Mississippi recently I renewed my 88 year old mother's license for her via the internet. For 8 more years.
