I have the Rogue S-25 Fat Boy sled. The negative I've heard on plastic runners is they tend to chip and can make the actual push/pull harder.

I just use mine out in the street. It makes noise like metal being dragged over asphalt. I would expect the same sort of scraping with plastic on concrete, but it's nothing crazy. None of the neighbors have minded me doing it at 7 pm.

Never tried it on mats, so I don't know there.

Yea I'm in the same position. I use the street or my yard.

I couldn't imagine it would push very well in the stall mats though. Like at all.
