Have the Sacalait started to bite yet in the Bayou Black area? Thanks!

Hop in your boat and go find out. That's how I do it.

Ok. Go east in the intercoastal until you see a tree with a bird in it. Make a right then shut down the motor precisely 50 yards into the canal. Whistle three times then lay on the boat deck and make fart noises with your hands behind your knees to call them up.
Tried and true method right 'dere
It's a crapshoot man. You just don't know until you venture out.

I was in BB Saturday. It's pretty muddy in all areas that are known to hold fish. I found a couple clean areas but they were spaced out. That's all I can tell you.

People ask about reports all the time when thinking about heading out. I have never heard one replied to with "go figure it out yourself"

Tried this weekend. The wind was horrible. Ended up catching some bass though!

Was there this morning. Pretty water is hard to find close to the intracoastal. Only 1 sacalait but a dozen or so buck bass for our efforts and a few females that were released. And it beat the shite out of being in my office

I wish I could help. But up here on an East Texas Lake the sacalait have just started moving to shallower water. I'd say go for it.
