The damn Instantpot was a bust for me. I bought the hype a few years ago hook, line, and sinker. What does it do well? It's not as fast as I want it to be, and nothing tastes as good as I want it to. If it were faster, sure, I'll sacrifice the quality. If it were higher quality and slower (aka, crockpot), sure. I'm at the point of actively hunting down recipes and such to try to justify the albeit modest purchase, but nothing is ever as good as doing it the "right" way. At this point we just use it for peanuts, and even that is a substandard product.

I'm about at the point of calling it a waste of space. Hot take, give me the aforementioned crock pot.

We talked about getting the air fryer attachment, but I'm wary of buying more crap for a thing that doesn't do anything well.

I used it once and then gave it away to my parents. They've gotten some use out of it. It's just not for me.

That'd be mine, but it was a Christmas gift so I didn't buy it.

Worst one I've bought was a cheap immersion blender. Don't remember the brand. First time I used it, one of the metal blades sheared off and I threw it away.

only had it a month and it's quickly moving up the list for me.

I don't really find it saving a lot of time and the finished product isn't anything special.

I recently took my InstaPot out of retirement. It does have a singular purpose for which it is very effective and that is cooking beans. I make a pot once or twice a week with a pretty basic recipe of seasoning, bacon, onions, garlic, etc. An hour later, damn near perfect every time and so much better than the canned shite.
