XFL would do better to have younger and more offensively innovative HC’s....

Instead of these washed up dinosaurs who’ve lost touch and are no longer relevant in their approaches.

Hence why they are minor league coaches now

NFL has those coaches

Definitely feel like they should go after some of these high school coaches that are doing crazy shite

Hiring a bunch of recognizable names helps a new league. Also, it's difficult to get any up and comer with to leave CFB or the NFL. Much easier to convince unemployed guys.

Jerry Glanville looked so disinterested

Like the guy who never punted, the guys who have the wild spreads and shite
Figure some of those guys have tapped out on their high school salaries and might want a shot to move up and get their name out there nationally

How much is the novelty of going “oh hey look at that guy I haven’t heard his name in years” worth if it’s followed by 3 hours of “why are they punting on 4th and 1 from the 40 and then going for the 1 point attempt every time?”

You needs some legitimacy. Hiring a bunch of high school coaches isn't exactly going to get the guys at ABC and Fox excited. They can make that transition once they're established.

The best coaches (and players) are in the NFL

This league has the Run and Shoot and the Air Raid.

The receivers coach at Houston was an offensive coordinator at West St Mary about 10 years ago.

Bobby Petrino would have been perfect for the XFL

I think you might have a point!
June Jones? I'm not picking on him specifically, but, you've made your point.

You want to see young and innovative? Watch high school and small college football. That's where the offensive innovation comes from.
You want to see plays and schemes that universally work when executed properly? Watch pro football.
Also, completed passes does not equal innovative.
