Was traveling recently and stopped into this place. It’s legit Louisiana food! Anyone else tried this spot?

Always eat the food of the region that you’re in. It’s never a good move to eat something Louisiana related when you’re not in Louisiana. I want a good cheesesteak I’m going to eat one in Philadelphia, not Phoenix. I want a good etoufee or gumbo I’m going to eat it in LA not Tulsa, OK.

So you only eat Italian, Chinese, or Mexican in Italy, China, or Mexico?

Cool. Someone should return the compliment and open a restaurant in New Orleans specializing in the cuisine of the Tulsa, Oklahoma region.

I actually know the owners! We went to school together in Metairie. They are awesome people and dedicate heart and soul to their food. Glad you enjoyed your visit!

I'm a life long friend of the owner. We stood in each others weddings. He gets his bread shipped in from Leidenheimer. His recipes are authentic from his family that's lived in New Orleans their entire lives and most still do live here. His wife's parents lived in Tulsa and they moved there after losing everything in Katrina and he opened this restaurant. It's as authentic New Orleans food as you'll find here. Like I said he gets Louisiana ingredients shipped in whenever he can.

Lived in Tulsa 5 yrs and moved about a year ago. It’s a great place and the locals love it. I expect it to be around for awhile. I wish they would’ve had a location on the south side of town.
