Is he visiting on his own accord?
Or is it by order of the prophet?

Good for him. Haven't kept up with him much over the years. Think he works in the league still

shaq had a pretty salty relationship with kobe for more than 20 years. Just a personality thing. I think the fact that he and Kobe were at odds probably has hurt Shaq more than anything because now its case closed. Made up or not that was his relationship with kobe now. You can sense it when he has talked about Kobe’s tragedy.

LSU seem to be a really good fit for Shareef. Get away from home town distractions in LA and hook up with one of the best college coaches in CBB to prepare him for the NBA in 2 years. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Icongeauxtigers.png)

At this point, I don't think it's as likely that he will be pressured to live up to his dad's legacy.

Well Kobe didn't dislike him enough to text his son on a regular basis and call him "fam"

They reconciled their differences past 3 years and became pretty good friends. It hurts him because they weren't that close for a large number of years and probably said some things he wish he didn't say during that period.

t'll be interesting. People here in Memphis think Shaq's relationship with Penny will have him in blue and grey. I think it's a 2 team race.
I know he got a bit unlucky with the loss of Wiseman (which was pretty ridiculous), but I feel like Penny is going to be a marginally better Johnny Jones. He'll wins some big games and loses some games to terrible teams...all while underachieving with tremendous talent. There's just a big difference between being a great player and being a great coach.

They were at odds a long time ago but once they got over it, that was the end
That was when they were playing and right after.
Y'all don't remember shaq's song
"Kobe tell me how my dick tastes"

Not NBA talent. Shaw was so sad, yet he has had not contact with Kobe in 3 plus years. Strange.

I never thought that a one sentence factual statement about where Shareef Abdur Rahim’s son is going to college would be my most downvoted post ever.

I saw that earlier and also a few on my original post about him. Looked through the comments to try to figure out the issue but no dice. Guess people don't like Shareef or maybe upset because he's not related to LSU recruiting. Rather talk about him than read the same questions/threads that have been so monotonous on this board.

Like the last few years correct. Like I said, for 20 years they were.
