Unable to read defense.

Until he shows he can’t do it on the field, I don’t buy the shite about him being unable to. Dude was Joe’s tag-along the past two seasons and has soaked up enough knowledge to lead and make this his team. The shite about him being too attached to his girlfriend sounds cheap, just like people telling him he still needs to gain weight. I’ve got confidence in Brennan. I think he’ll exceed expectations.

The girlfriend shite sounds like Brennan fricked 225Tyga’s gf to be honest

We all expect he will be at least "just fine". He might even be "pretty damn good".
But that is still a long ways down from "Holy Crap, that is the best passer I've ever seen in College ball".

That would be better than an autograph

If he can produce 2/3 of the production per game that Burrow did...
Assuming 13 games (12 season, 1 bowl)
- 3,300 yards passing
- 35 passing TD
- 250 yards rushing
- 2 rushing TD
Before 2019, this would be the best QB season in school history.
I think it's doable and gets us to 10 wins including bowl game.
Once again, this also puts into perspective just how F-ing great Burrow was in 2019. Unbelievable!!!

people won’t be down on him when he isn’t Joe Burrow. He won’t put up Burrow stats.
Joe Burrow wasn’t JOE BURROW his first year at LSU.

He doesn’t have Joe’s toughness.
Very few QBs have Joe's toughness and grit.
Joe and Myles are both smart but Myles needs to commit to work has hard as Joe did.
He may be accurate but his interception ratio is a lot higher.

That would explain a lot

I think Myles will throw for 3,000 yards and 30 TDs next season though.
3k yds and 30 TDs is about half Burrow's totals, and in any normal season would be a good bet to be All SEC. 4k and 40 would get him invited to NY.

Etling had it but he just wasn’t as talented.

I think he will do great. I cant even remember the last QB we’ve had that was a backup for 3 years on OUR team to be the starter for the 4th&5th year. Im looking forward to him playing next year. Comparing him to Joe is what some of our dumb fans are going to inevitably do...

Word is:
- not super motivated
- not a natural leader
Hope my info proves to be dated/wrong.
Will definitely give him the benefit of the doubt based on his prolific HS stats. Maybe he has grown into the role watching Jeaux kill it!

You might be right but he tossed pretty well in mop up duty. I don’t think coach o would put up with that. He knew McMillan wasn’t the answer and got someone better.

It would seem LSU is in perfect position of just passing the torch to the next great QB/

What people forget is that Joe found the 1on1 where the defender was in a bad position to even make a play on the ball....even though our wr was “covered.”
The ability to make those types of quick reads AND then also have the ability to put it exactly where it needs to be, that’s incredible really.
That success came with a ton of film watching and tons of routes and repetitions after practice with wrs.
GIANT commitment. Not saying MB doesn’t have that..that’s just what it takes and not many, if at all, have accomplished it.
I’m just ecstatic that I got to watch the best season ever by a living college-football legend, Joe Burrow.

I just think Brennan had the benefit of learning from one of the best ever hands on. He'll have to make his own way of course but I can't imagine a better scenario for somebody taking over the QB spot.
Stay on campus this summer, work out with the WR's like Joe did. Emulate Joe's work habits while being himself.
I mean jeez, some Wake Forest transfer is being annointed as the next great SEC QB...such offseason garbage...lol
