Are they a legit dealer? Their prices are a good bit lower than most other dealers. Almost seem too good to be true?

Why don’t you ask your husband

A little more information and specifics please? Not trolling here, but folks will need more info to help you form a decision based upon their experiences.

I have no specific example other than the vehicle I’m looking at is listed 2100 below the next lowest similar specd model within 75 miles. But it’s like that for pretty much Thier entire used inventory.

They are a volume dealer, sell a lot of fleet vehicles. Legit but the lot is usually pretty boring

That’s what I figured. I know the vehicle I’m looking at was a rental. That doesn’t bother me tho it’s still under factory warranty.

I haven’t been there. But I’ve been shopping. They have a couple vehicles that seem priced very low for what they advertised as options. However on further looking at pics, the vehicle doesn’t have any of the options they listed. The price in turn is not good but is actually high.
So approach with skepticism. But they may be easy to deal with.

I actually pulled the build sheet based on the listed vin and it’s as advertised

SO it sounds like a used vehicle, maybe a "Program car" which could mean anything. Is it a Ford product? I would assume so. Never buy a Chevy from a Ford store and so on. Why would you trade a late model vehicle for a different make. I always suspect a problem vehicle their.
Run a car fax. That is of limited value if it was a rental because major rental fleets are self insured so any accidents don't get reported to guys like CarFax.
Why would you sell something $2000 less than what it was worth?

This here. A guy that I used to work with bought 2 trucks from them. He would always brag about his grandpaw have a hook up because he knew someone there. Both times he bought bare bones trucks for the price that he could have gotten one with most of the bells and whistles. He would brag about the deal he got but if you crunched the numbers he actually got fricked.

Seen the talent at Robin Ford?

If used and as advertised, go check it out, have a mechanic check over it. I’m not too bothered by former rentals and fleet vehicles. The vast majority of people aren’t assholes that downshift to 2nd at 90mph and shite. Just get it checked out.

I have bought 15+ trucks from Crescent Ford. Most have been fleet vehicles but at least 6 have been personal trucks for my business partner or I. I have never had to haggle, argue over trade values and always get to the front of the line for service. The caveat to what I just said is that the ownership changed in the last year and I have not had to purchase anything from the since the change. A quick look at their website shows that the sales manager I have always dealt with is no longer there.

Why? All of the dealers buy from the same places whether it is the auction or from local rent a car places.

It could be old inventory and they are just trying to move it or as far as Crescent Ford goes they don’t really recondition their cars like most of the other dealers do so it’s going to have dents, paint blemishes, rock chips, damaged wheels, cig burns, stains, worn discolored leather etc...

They are legit. Bought my son a car from there a few months ago and the price was lower than anyone else around by far. Here's how they do it because it's what happened to me. Car was 14k. I was planning on putting down 11k and financing the remainder through my local credit union. Well, that wouldn't work if I wanted the car at the 14k price. They wanted me to basically finance the whole thing through one of their lenders. I know what you're thinking, that's pretty crappy or bait and switch but it really wasn't. He said they basically sell some vehicles at a loss in order to give more business to their lenders. In return, the lenders will finance deals for them for people with shaddy credit. He said to just finance with them for 3 months and then refinance with my credit union. He also deducted the interest cost from those 3 months off the price of the car. Basically paid me the interest for three months. After the three payments, I just decided to pay the car off rather than refinance. Very happy with the car and the deal they made with me.

Hmm. That’s not a huge deal to me. But I did read one review on google that said the same thing about the cash price. Was it crazy high interest or somthing?
