I have 100 dollars the quote in that article from an unnamed LA media member is none other that Glen fricking Guilbeau
quote:
“I personally think (hiring Pelini) would be awful. I don’t think he fits the culture that Ed (Orgeron) has established there and I just don’t think it’s a good fit. Love to hear your thoughts.”

“Love to hear your thoughts” aka “I know I’m wrong but I’m just trying to stir shite”, the age of the anonymous media shite starter needs to end

Most certainly Glenn Guilbeau. I wish people would stop giving that troll clicks. SDS is giving him a voice

Probably that douche RP3 from the Lafayette morning show

If he doesn't fit the culture, then O will fire him.
He fired Canada.
But I don't really understand the quote either, what about him doesn't fit and what culture are you referring to?
Just seems like football media speak for "I don't like Bo Pelini"

Bo is a perfect fit. Like O, he demands hard work from his players and coaches. If you invest with the hard work, Bo will support you through thick and thin. ( much like O). He is extremely player friendly and approachable , as long as you are not lazy and don’t try to rest on your high school achievements. He recruited Ricky Jean out of a really bad area of Houston. RJ came in without The typical academic background. He was an extremely devoted and hard working kid. He got himself into a little academic trouble and despite it, Bo stood up for him bc he knew the kids work ethic. RJ paid his dues and sat out all season, but continued to work his arse off. He became eligible as the Fall semester ended and was allowed to play against Ohio State in the Natty. The rest is history. Think O sticking by Fulton and rewarding him for paying his debt and working hard. He will fit perfectly with the culture of the program.

Honestly, I think Pelini fits "O's culture" more than Aranda. O and Aranda couldn't be more polar opposites personality-wise. If Aranda didn't have as much of a history of success at LSU I suspect O would have quickly opted for a DC with a more aggressive/energetic personality. Now it could just be selective, but all former players that have spoken about the hire have spoken glowingly about Bo, and I think the relationship between players/coaches is most important to O. He's seen as a "players coach".
As far as Pelini's issues with the fans/administration at Nebraska are concerned I think that can more attributed to the "withdrawal symptoms" experienced by Nebraska supporters while trying to come to grips with the fact they will no longer be a dominant program like there were in the 70's, 80's, and 90's. 9 wins a year was highly disappointing when they were so used to being in the national championship mix every year. Now it would be celebrated.
I don't know if Pelini part deaux will work at LSU. But if it doesn't, I don't think it will be because he didn't fit O's "culture"
Aranda rarely showed emotion. Get ready to see a lot of Bo and O excitement!

Bo is a wildman. I’ve missed seeing that on the sidelines between Chavis and Aranda with their more reserved personalities

GG never likes anything LSU does.

BS!
B Pellini was the one backing up Moffitt when Hat was trying to be players’ friend, goldbricking Miles.
Many believe that Moffitt and O positively affected the S&C Culture!!!
Throw in BP, what you think!!!
BS comment is what I think about your remark. Are you a USL Penis Envy Fan or what?

Pelini's problem was that when playing a really good passing team, he relied on zone D and timing plays and a good QB will score.
He did great w basic offenses.
Pelini NEVER would have allowed our players one on one against Clemson and we could have arguably lost the game playing zone D.

RTWFU! Could have easily come out of Bo's Mouth! I think its a prefect fit. Coach O just plays the calm role on camera, but he is as intense as anyone in that locker room!

At this point, I am going with Eaux. Pellini is clearly a capable coach.

The AD wasn't all in at Nebraska when the fans were expecting titles. You can only do so much without the support from administration. Seems to be the same issue at USC right now.
