will the scheme bo runs require much of a learning curve for the players we have? do we have the right players?

will bo come in and just change the blitz packages and game strategy or does he need to retool the line to play different?

all you detail guys who live this stuff, can you explain, best as you can, what you think bo does to make this defense better?

I think we'll run a mix of 3-4/4-3 next year slowly easing over to a 4-3. Don't think it will be a flat 4-3 change. Might depend on their flexibility at LB but DL depth is looking ridiculous if they can get Burch/Jackson to finish recruiting. The DLU moniker has been dead since 2011. Time to revive it with DBU and WRU.

Only thing I hope Bo doesn't bring over with his scheme from when he was here is placing Safeties in the Nicke/Dime slots at CB mismatching them on the fastest WRs possible. Works if you have guys like Leron Landry which he did not have after he left. It was painful watching guys like Coleman/Danny Mcray get torched on this team though Danny wasn't when Bo was here. Still his recruit though.

No.

He’s never left college football and the lower divisions are often more cutting edge and experimental.
