How do people feel about the silence on open positions?

I’m trying to figure out if the silence is a good or bad thing. The longer it goes the more likely less people are available. It could also just mean they are in discussions with people they feel highly about. I’m not sure how to feel about it.

The one thing to remember about these analysts is that when LSU does hire new coaches they will have their own guys I’m sure they will want to bring on as analysts.

I hate being left out of the loop.

Picking up sarcasm is a must for the rant.

Just live your life and let coach O worry about what he’s paid to do. No reason to be anxious about it.

Dude I’m still just enjoying the greatest season ever in CFB.

I wouldn’t worry about it. In 7 months the team will begin to defend the title with a staff Coach O feels good about.

The DC seems to be Pelinis to lose. The longer it takes the less likely it becomes possible.

I’m fine with waiting and seeing what O does and really see how they do next year.

We know Joe Brady is great now but no one on this board had a clue who the dude was at this time last year and a lot of people doubted how much of a change he would actually make all the way up until the 3rd and 17 in the Texas game.

Seems to be taking too long. In terms of recruiting, we need coaches in place. No one will commit, when there are question marks about what scheme will be run.

SEC, coach of the year

AP, coach of the year

Paul Bear Bryant, coach of the year

Eddie Robinson, coach of the year

Walter Camp, coach of the year

Home Depot, coach of the year

American Football Coaches Association, coach of the year

I'm giving O the benefit of the doubt on this one.

It’s the opposite of how Alleva would handle it so I love it

It shows O is not going to make a knee jerk hire like he did with Canada. He is doing exactly what any CEO would do. Due diligence, research and vetting. These are important hires that take thought and time.

It’s only silent to us outside of the program. I’m sure there’s a lot going on behind the scenes and I trust that they’ll make the right hire

Just enjoying the glow and looking forward to Spring Practice.
Meanwhile: Hope Wade's boys beat the Longhorns today.

I'd say the shot callers aren't silent at all. Likely non-stop communication on (and with) coaching candidates

They're just not talking to you.

I chalked it up to the front office securing O.

Everyone is always available. You just have to convince them they are available.

I’m okay with taking all the time needed to get the right guys.

I am not worried at all because I'm not the coach, and the coach just led LSU to the greatest season of all time.

It's ok.

If I had to guess O and Woodward are getting a ton of interest in these positions.
Takes time to sort through.

Not worried in least.
