It all ends up in one of two places anyway. My bank account, or an investment. Both don’t care either way.

If your payday is next Friday, you’ll get 3 extra check months this year.

Bi-weekly - technically, you feel like you get two extra checks each year if you plan your bill paying around getting paid twice a month. I spent almost 30 years getting paid bi-weekly. Always counted the two “extra” checks as play money and while married to wifey #1, she never figured it out !

I have been paid bi-weekly for the past 12 years. Twice a year we would get a third check in a month that didn't have insurance taken out.
I liked it because I could budget on two consistent paychecks per month and then use the extra checks for larger "want" purchases without messing up the regular budget.
New job is going to be once per month... will just budget accordingly.
