So, I got to spend a few minutes talking to Myles Brennan today before he left for home.

We're good. Asked him how he felt about being handed the keys to the Ferrari. "I'm excited as humanly possible and there is no way I'm wrapping her around a tree". About which side of the Brennan family he was from. Said his grandfather (great) was the original owner of Brennan's. Said BOTH of his parents are Tulane alums. And they really wanted him to go to Tulane. He said his response was "I'm sure Tulane was great a long time ago when you went there, but. Oh come-on. They weren't!"

Good kid.

Myles will hear VERY loud cheers as he runs out on the field in the first game. 1/3 of this people will have left by the start of the 4th quarter - ha ha

I would hate people randomly coming up to me asking me ridiculous questions. Why not just leave the kid alone? He knows the opportunity in front of him he doesn’t need to answer 20 questions about his feelings and family tree. I guess privacy is a thing of the past.

Even if you did talk to him he wouldn't say that. I mean nobody talks like that. "Wrapping her around a tree" wut-da-fuq?

ETA: I don’t believe he said this. Just to clarify.

I was nervous about Myles. But thank goodness that you had a casual conversation with him that had little to do with football! Now I can sleep well tonight knowing that he’s a guaranteed all-American

This definitely doesn’t sound made up at all.

Why did you go to the trouble of making this up and posting it?

Makes me feel bad for old people and college athletes that have to deal with old people.

I also spoke to Brennan, he said he learned a helluva lot from Joey Heisman, and knows the playbook well.

He added he has a better arm but needs to work on his quick decision making under pressure.

That’s awesome lol. Judging by every interview I’ve seen him in I can totally see him saying this. Was that the extent of yalls conversation or did y’all talk about anything else? And don’t worry about all these douche canoes saying this is fake or whatever. Swear to God half the people on this board must be miserable in their personal lives judging by their rigid tone on here.
